Is Samsung TV not turning on?

1.) Check the Power Source
It’s an obvious one, but worth checking as your first port of call.

A small knock and the cable could have been dislodged from the back of your TV. In my experience, the cable can look like it’s plugged in but is actually just resting on the port and not firmly clicked into place.
Firmly push it into the outlet and the back of the TV. If you’ve done this and it’s still not turning on – move on to the next stop.
2.) Reset The TV
Resting the TV is the next best thing to do.
To reset a TV, unplug all cables from the outlet and wait for at least 30 seconds. After that plug all cables back in and turn on the TV to see if this has fixed any issues.
Waiting 10 seconds is key because doing this should give enough time for any residual charge left over within internal circuits to be discharged. If that didn’t do the trick, then it might be your remote that’s playing up.
3.) Remove batteries from the Samsung remote
Removing the batteries from your Samsung remote is a simple and effective way to reset it. To begin, locate the battery compartment on the back of your remote. Most Samsung remotes use two AAA batteries, but some models may require different sizes.
Once you’ve located the battery compartment, open it up and remove both batteries from their slots. After removing the batteries, wait at least 30 seconds before putting them back in again.
This will allow enough time for any stored energy within the device to dissipate completely and give you a fresh start when powering up again.
Once 30 seconds have passed, re-insert both of your AAA batteries into their respective slots in the battery compartment and close it securely shut once more. Your remote should now be ready for use.
4.) Try A Different Power Outlet
If your Samsung TV isn’t powering on, it could be due to a faulty power outlet.
Before you go out and buy a new TV, try plugging the power cord into another wall socket in the same room or even in an adjacent room. This is especially important if you’re using a surge protector or extension cord with multiple outlets.
If the issue persists after switching outlets, then there may be something wrong with either the TV itself. If that doesn’t do the trick, read on.
5.) Select the Correct Input Source
If you’re still having trouble getting your TV to work, it could be because the input source is not set correctly.
