The United States Military, the Airfoce to be specific, just purchased at least two Tesla Cybertrucks, earlier in 2025 according to a source. Not only did they purchase the two Cybertrucks, they also purchased 31 other vehicles for training in White Sands Missle Range (WSMR). The WSMR is primarily owned by the U.S. Army, but as most people in and around the military, the U.S. Airforce and the U.S. Army go hand in hand.

Musk’s bragging of a apocalyptic truck will finally be tested.
Elon Musk, owner of Tesla, had envisioned his truck to be “bulletproof” and a truck to live through an apocalypse, but we are now about to find out. Musk’s approach to the government was to get them to purchase these vehicles for military use. However, the government has decided to buy them, for target practice with certain military weapons and missiles. Many “normal” customers have modified their Tesla Cybertruck. Most popular, this X user with a machine gun mounted to his Cybertruck, which looks really cool!
What are your opinions on the government using them for target practice? Would you like to see the Cybertruck replace the Humvee?
